Posted: April 15, 2014

Ultimalt is a soft drink combination of sweetness and creaminess targeted for African, Caribbean, and U.K. households. Not only was the unique glass bottle designed specifically for this brand, but also the striking labels were also custom-made by Spear.
In order to achieve the desired look for this new product Spear were on hand from inception to completion to assist with everything from design concepts to label application. The finished pressure sensitive label is created using a six-color screen/flexo combination. Printed on metalized film, the eye-catching design is accentuated by semi opaque colors to achieve an elegant metallic sheen.
Prevalent in Africa and the Caribbean, non-alcoholic malt drinks are gaining more widespread popularity in the U.K. and other parts of Europe. Kayode Toyinbo, director of the leading African and Caribbean distributor Kato Enterprises Ltd., describes Ultimalt as a malt drink like no other: “The highest quality brewing processes, the beautifully engineered bespoke bottle, the elegant packaging, and last but certainly not least, a full malt flavor fortified with B vitamins for nourishing goodness.” For more, visit www.spearsystem.com.
