Leading rigid paperboard product design and packaging producer, NAPCO announced today the manufacture of a premium three disc DVD boxed set for HBO's hit miniseries "Generation Kill." The innovative look includes a rigid paperboard binder box with a printed brushed silver foil wrap, printed liners, and a custom hidden magnetic closure. The box interior includes an affixed foldout component with crystal clear disc trays for maximum graphics display.
"NAPCO created an ultra high-end DVD packaging solution that really stands out at retail and commands consumer attention," says Matthew Schaefer, director of print production operations for HBO. We wanted a really slick package with a quick turnaround and Napco delivered with structural development, prototypes, and finished product that exceeded our expectations."
NAPCO's custom-tailored, binder-box-style packaging was produced on automated box manufacturing lines to create a quick and cost-effective solution. Napco coordinated directly with HBO's marketing and operations teams to construct a complete solution including samples, printing, and production.
