Promens Continues Its Sustainable Committment with Eco Crystal Cosmetic Jar

Posted: May 2, 2014

Promens wants day after day to create packaging that respects the environment by determined and pragmatic actions with one main objective—to reduce energy consumption and CO2 emissions. To reach this objective, Promens has built a unique and original program called the Green3 Program. This is a holistic “3D thinking” program based on three axes: product design, responsible manufacturing, and recycling.

Today, the awareness of the environment becomes one of the major considerations to the evolution of packaging. That is why Promens decided to design and manufacture a thin-walled cosmetic jar—the 50-ml Eco Crystal jar. Following the launch of the luxury collection of cylindrical Crystal cosmetic jars, Eco Crystal is the ecological answer to the increasing awareness to conserve the precious natural resources. The Crystal range is available in three sizes: 15-ml and 50-ml for facial care ranges and 200-ml for body care ranges.
Thanks to its thin external wall, the 50ml Eco Crystal uses less plastic than the other luxury 50-ml cosmetic jars. It combines eco-conception and luxury in jars made of PP or SAN. In its SAN version, Eco Crystal meets the requirements of luxury codes criteria. The SAN material gives maximum transparency and provides the integrity of glass. Eco Crystal PP version respects the environment because it can be recycled. Eco Crystal reveals its seductiveness throughout its different finishing: gloss, matt or soft touch, the three PP versions offer an external aspect dedicated to each care.

It can be used either with a standard PP insert, or with the eco-refill Natura Pack system, that allows the consumer to re-use the jar. Eco Crystal can be decorated with hot stamping, tampo-printing, or lacquering. For more, visit
