Schick debuts the Xtreme3 Eco. A reported first in the personal care industry in the U.S., the disposable razor’s handle and packaging are made from 100% recycled materials. The razor is made in Milford, CT, from recycled plastic, and the packaging is made from 100% post-consumer paper.

Using the recycled materials is projected to save Schick more than 103,000 lbs of virgin plastic and 15,500 lbs of virgin paper from being landfilled every year. The recycled plastic is sourced from common household items such as hangers, buckets, and pails. Overall, the recycling effort will save enough plastic each year to go up and down the Washington Monument more than 2,330 times.
