Swedish Wine Packaging Educates With Hip Bottle and Introduction Book

Jop Quirindongo, designer at, realized that Sweden is not the first country a wine connoisseur thinks of when it comes to wine. Though it is possible the grow grapes in this beautiful country, it takes a lot of effort and knowledge to do so. It is because of this that true craftsmanship shines through, and why the Blidfrukt Vit wine and packaging are an exceptional experience for the senses.

Quirindongo explains that the packaging of this white wine from Sweden plays off Swedish traditions and cultural cues. The cross is from the Swedish flag, and the color of the glass and the poetic name of the wine are a contrast with the rough Swedish landscape.

The design target group of the wine are young, outgoing people who love fashion and nightlife but feel attracted to the character of Sweden as a country. A luxurious limited edition box contains an introduction book, called Karaktär. The connection of youth and tradition are explained through interviews of individuals from the cities of Sweden and stories from the quiet backlands.
