Multipacks methods, whether paperboard containers, shrink-wraps, or rigid plastic holders, continue to penetrate more consumer goods categories. The first question is: Are CPGs, consumers, or retailers driving this trend? Also, what categories have opportunity for growth, and what makes a successful multipack design? Can odd shapes, like the six-pack of cans shown here, succeed in more mass-market environments? Finally, is there any evidence that multipack buyers are more likely to be repeat buyers?
