ABRE (Brazilian Packaging Association) 2003 Awards ABRE--The Brazilian Association of Packaging--is a non-profit trade organization representing the companies throughout the packaging industry. Founded in 1967 by a small group of companies, ABRE has continuously grown to its present membership of more than 260 member associates today. ABRE is represented by companies in all areas of packaging, including glass, metal, wood, cardboard and corrugated materials, and plastics. ABRE's mission is to unite and promote its member companies, stimulate the exchange of knowledge and technology, create new business opportunities, and represent the packaging industry before public and private organizations.
