of Packaging Innovations Golden Mummy and Pyramid Awards The 17th annual Golden Mummy and Pyramid Awards have honored six flexible packaging and labeling applications with the coveted Golden Mummy and Pyramid Awards. The awards are presented each year by the Films Business of ExxonMobil Chemical. Our customers continue to impress us with the types of packaging and labels they employ for their products, said Jim Ashmore, sales and marketing manager, ExxonMobil Chemical. The Golden Mummy and Pyramid Awards are our chance to recognize those applications that are truly innovative and effective. Judging for the Golden Mummy and Pyramid Awards took place in Rochester, N.Y. near the ExxonMobil Chemical Films main office. The following industry experts served on the independent panel of judges: David Luttenberger, Director of Publishing, Packaging Strategies; Jim Peters, President of J. Peters Associates, a writing and marketing communications firm; and Karen Proctor, Chair of the Packaging Science Program at the Rochester Institute of Technology. The Films Business of ExxonMobil Chemical is the worlds premier supplier of a full range of oriented polypropylene (OPP) film for flexible packaging and labeling applications.
