The Ultimate Vote
"Get out the vote!" You will hear this many times over the next few months as America prepares to vote for their choice for President. Within this issue, Package Design Magazine investigates the ultimate vote, the vote that is cast every day as consumers select—with their pocket books—their preferred products. One of the finest examples of winning the consumers' (or voters') respect and loyalty is highlighted in our cover story on the internal package design team at Estée Lauder. The winning formula for attracting and keeping clients was established by Estée Lauder with her face-to-face campaigning for the quality of her products. The campaign was a daily effort at understanding her constituents' needs and fulfilling them with great product and packaging solutions. This type of campaigning built loyalty and understanding and has established a dynasty. With this issue Package Design Magazine offers you the opportunity to cast a vote for your favorite Package Design Makeover Challenge participant. Your voting experience will be enriched with in-depth hard copy profiles and powerful online 3-D examples of each Challenge team's redesigned packages. Every vote counts, but only one vote per subscriber will be permitted. We hope you enjoy this issue and as always we thank you for your continued interest and support. Chris Lyons | ||
