An X-Citing Time for Packaging

By Christopher Lyons, Publisher

Every once in a while a product comes along that makes kids go wild and parents say uncle. Microsoft has achieved that kind of product development again, and now with their newest packaging efforts they have matched the product hit with a packaging hit! Microsoft's internal package design and development team has brought x-citement and innovation to the Xbox product line with great efficiency and skill. We believe this cover story will inspire!

This month's Wow! What a Package! column brings home one of the most powerful cause-marketing topics of our day. Breast cancer has touched millions of lives over the years and becomes a personal battle for over 200,000 American women each year. Energizer Holdings Inc. saw a perfect fit between its pink bunny, its slogan, and breast cancer awareness. Energizer has developed a fully integrated packaging campaign that acknowledges women's battles and supports efforts to eradicate this awful disease.

It is our hope that very soon breast cancer will be one for the medical history books. In the meantime, if you or someone you love is stricken with breast cancer you can find excellent information and support at www.breastcancer.org

Thanks again for your continued support of

Enjoy!
