Cans Launched: Fruttini Aerosol Can by Nussbaum
In the U.S., smoothies made of fresh fruit, yogurt, and milk are popular party drinks. With an eye to the target group of young and young-at-heart consumers involved, Nussbaum customer Mann & Schröder GmbH in Siegelsbach, Germany, developed a shower mousse called Fruttini Smoothies, which contain vitamin-rich natural fruit extracts and moisturizing yogurt proteins.
Nussbaum developed an ideal container for the creamy soft gourmet shower mousse—the Evolution Can. The can is tapered in the middle for an elegant and harmonious look with a slim, softly shaped silhouette. This special shape lends the can a unique aesthetic touch plus a slight hint of femininity and undeniable sex appeal.
The slim-waisted can also fits users' hands better, making it easy to dispense under a running shower. The bold printed design with an appealing freshness was achieved using the most modern in printing techniques. The delicious-looking strawberries are rendered almost as authentically as realistic photos, and planned tone shadings and vignetted backgrounds are soft and gentle. The Evolution Can special forming method was adapted for the 150 ml cans with a diameter of 45 mm and for 200 to 250 ml cans with a diameter of 53 mm.
Prototype Cans: Embossed Aluminum Aerosol Can by Tubex
This new Tubex can features elaborate embossing done directly on the production line. The process allows contoured embossing as well as the embossing of individual fields combined with raised lettering or a logo. The aluminum aerosol can emerges as a greatly enhanced container with an optimum look and feel.
Embossing over the entire surface of the can creates a new, unmistakable feel for consumers. The shaped shoulder can be combined with the embossed area in the cylindrical part of the can, so there are virtually no limits to the designs that can be achieved. Another highlight of this process is the possibility to exactly align the printing to the embossed surface—up to seven colors.
The brushed aluminum offers an additional elegant and effective design element. On top of that, two other advantages of this process are that the can has a high recognition value and that it protects the brand more effectively against product piracy. The tough technical requirements (such as printing and internal lacquer durability) are also fully met, according to Tubex. Consequently, this new and elegant type of aerosol container is suitable for all common filling goods.
