Healthcare Compliance Packaging Council Packages of the Year
The Healthcare Compliance Packaging Council (HCPC) is a not-for-profit trade association whose mission is to promote the many benefits of unit-dose blister and strip packaging, including its superior ability to improve patient
compliance, tamper evidence, efficacy protection, prevention of accidental poisonings, improved safety, and deterrence of counterfeiting. Pharmaceutical noncompliance is a serious national problem as nearly 50% of all medications prescribed are taken incorrectly, resulting in a myriad of complications such as prolonged illness, unnecessary hospital visits, and premature death. www.unitdose.org
