INTERPACK PREVIEW
interpack Celebrates 50th Anniversary With Record-Breaking Exhibitor ListAll roads lead to Düsseldorf, Germany, this coming April for the interpack Processes and Packaging 2008 show—the biggest interpack of all time. From April 24-30, 2008, the international packaging industry will assemble in the D üsseldorf Trade Fair Center halls, filling to capacity all 19 halls and the new Hall 8b. A new record in terms of participations is also expected. "The interpack 2008 concept responds to the needs of a market which is at present developing very positively." Says Wilhelm Niedergöker, managing director of Messe Düsseldorf. "This is evident not only in the increased size of traditional exhibitors' stands but also in the large number of companies that will be making their first appearance at interpack." Over interpack's seven-day run, interpack 2008 will showcase innovations for every link in the value chain. Under the interpack 2008 umbrella, the Innovationparc Packaging section will treat trade visitors to interactive solutions that meet the diverse demands of home, retail, logistics, and production. The focus will be on innovations in fast-moving consumer goods, with each one presented in the context of the entire, relevant value chain. At www.interpack.com, exhibitors, potential participants, and trade fair visitors will find easily navigable, comprehensive and multilingual service offerings attractively packaged in the new interpack design and featuring the trademark flowing interpack ribbon. In addition, iF International Forum Design GmbH will launch the first ever "iF Packaging Award" at interpack Processes and Packaging 2008. Potential innovators can find detailed information about participating at www.ifdesign.de. The closing date for entries is December 15, 2007. | ||
