Unifoil Shows off Sustainable Metallic
Finishes at CPP Expo 2007 in Las Vegas

Unifoil Corporation used the 2007 CPP Expo to promote its array of eye-catching, brand-building, and easy-to-use sustainable packaging materials. Among the featured innovative recyclable Unifoil products are UniLustre ® and Holographic UniLustre® nonlaminated papers and boards. UniLustre and Holographic UniLustre are metallized multidimensional packaging media for cosmetic, personal care, beverage, multimedia, and other point-of-sale items, as well as security enhancement applications.

"Environmentally friendly recyclable packaging materials that dazzle the eye and attract the consumer and are easy to convert and print on are available today," says Joe Funicelli, CEO and president of Unifoil, based in Fairfield, NJ. Other recyclable packaging materials exhibited by Unifoil include UltraLustre® and Holographic UltraLustre®, which are patented, bright, metallized, scuff- and weather-resistant, nonlaminated plastic substrates. According to the company, both are well-suited for primary packaging and plastic cards, including credit, ATM, gift, loyalty, I.D., phone, security, and smart cards.
