Amcor Rigid Plastics, one of the world’s leading manufacturers of rigid plastic packaging for food, beverage, spirits, personal/home care and healthcare industries, has been recognized as the Top Transformador de Bebidas (the top carbonated soft drink bottle converter) by Plasticos em Revista magazine, a leading trade magazine based in São Paulo, Brazil. The award is based on a national reader survey that recognizes leading suppliers and manufacturers in a range of categories, including rigid beverage packaging.
In the reader survey, conducted by Maxiquim Consulting, a leading market research company, Amcor was cited by readers as the leading converter for CSD beverage packaging. In addition to converters, awards were given in a range of categories, including recycling, equipment, pigments, raw materials, and distribution. Magazine readers were permitted one vote in each category.
“We are pleased to be recognized with this honor for our longstanding commitment to the Brazilian market,” said Juan Procel, commercial director of Amcor’s Brazil business unit. “This award further reaffirms our position as one of the leading brands in the beverage, food, personal care, home care, and pharmaceutical segments.”
