TricorBraun Wins Eleven Awards at the 2015 NACD Awards and Extends Its Best of Show Streak to Four
We were a big winner in the 2015 National Association of Container Distributors (NACD) Packaging Awards Competition, scoring eleven awards overall, including four Gold, three Silver and three Bronze Awards, as well as the Best of Show Award for its 3M 4-in-1 Patch Plus Primer package. Awards were announced at the NACD Annual Convention on May 7.
The unique 3M package includes all that homeowners need to prep their walls prior to painting, with spackle, primer, a putty knife and sand paper all in one package. The end of this modified tottle is molded into a sturdy one-inch plastic putty knife and a red double-wall closure incorporates a sandpaper disk on its top. The tottle holds and dispenses the patch and primer, bringing products and applicators together in one convenient hand-held product.
TricorBraun packages won Gold Awards in the drug and pharmaceutical, beverage, novelty and general industrial categories, and Silver Awards in the food, pet and vet, and household chemical and automotive categories. The company also won Bronze Awards in the drug and pharmaceutical, novelty and cosmetic and personal care categories.
This makes the sixth straight year that we have won at least one Gold award at the NACD Awards, and the fourth straight year TricorBraun has won Best of Show, demonstrating its industry-leading design capabilities.
